They are your Modern Adventure host, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable trip for everyone. They will be your go-to for any and all questions around our daily flow, meeting points, times, what to expect and any questions or concerns that may arise.

Our local guides are backcountry experts. Each is medically certified as a Wilderness First Responder and carries the appropriate qualifications to backpack and hike throughout Alaska’s wilderness. Our guides are here to ensure the group has an authentic backcountry experience while ensuring safety is a priority.

They are also your your camp cooks—serving up delicious hot meals after long days of hiking—and your naturalists, there to help you get the most out of the amazing landscape you’ll be trekking through.
